Along with my 2 colleagues Cllr Foden and Sims I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon at the Richmond Park Community day event.

It was a fantastic event organised by the Richmond Park TARA. There was food, entertainment, bouncy castle, food stalls and even a special presence from the Meadowhall raptor rescue who brought along a beautiful falcon which was a great hit with kids and adults alike.

The event attracted lots of people not only from the estate but also people came from all over the kimberworth, Blackburn and the central area.

Great Credit goes to the organiser in chief Ian Jones, his fabulous family, TARA members, Cllr Simon Currie and the lovely Julie Currie and all the volunteers for all their hard work in creating such a fantastic community spirit in the Richmond Park area.
